An Apple patent revealed today that instead of searching your iTunes library with text you would do it instead with a mosaic playlist which could be set into various arrangements of your choice. This means you can quickly search and navigate without having to open a new view. To make this possible though Apple would have to redesign iTunes or make a new tab that has this functionality.
