2 iPhone 4's have been strapped aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis. After docking with the ISS the astronauts can use the phones but are there to be mainly used to test out an app called SpaceLab for iOS. This app, designed by Houston's Odyssey Space Research, contains a number of navigation tools that will test the iPhones camera's and gyroscopes, and a self-monitoring experiment which will what the real effects are of radiation on these devices. The launch is scheduled July 8th and the app is out on the app store.

More evidence of an iPhone 4S hybrid
A new report emerged today of more information towards a hybrid iPhone 4S capable of connecting to GSM and CDMA networks.
Apple plans the new 'iPhone 4S' adding GSM-CDMA functionality and a sim slot for countries except the united states. Based on new comparisons the new iPhone is to have a smaller facetime camera hole a narrower receiver slit and have an antenna capable of receiving 5Ghz wavelength of 802.11n wireless networking.
The next iPhone 4S is supposed to begin production in August ahead of a September of October release.

Facetime in 3G?
Facetime, the magical, evolutionary video calling app seems to make itself to 3G in Apple's latest version of iOS. Since Facetime was debuted it has been limited to WiFi only calls but now may be headed to 3G this picture reveals from mac rumors.
