A new discovery made in the Contacts app of the new iOS 5 is related people. The related people field is disabled by default so you have to click on it to add it to your contacts card, then you get to pick from a wide range of contacts including: mother, father, parent, brother, sister, child, friend, spouse, partner, assistant, manager and other.
